Job Summary:

The Tendering Engineer prices tender documents by analyzing proposals and specification requirements.

Major Duties And Responsibilties:

• Studies tender documentation thoroughly
• Requests additional information when needed
• Analyzes drawings and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials and labor estimates
• Prepares and sends inquires to suppliers/subcontractors and obtains appropriate quotations based on specifications and requirements
• Negotiates the best terms from the quotation received
• Prepares comparison sheet to better evaluate the offers
• Calculates a final figure for the estimated cost, supplemented by adjustments for overheads and profit, and presents a tender price to Projects Manager
• Prices the items in the Bill of Quantities or making buildup rates, and be familiar with prevailing market rates
• Works with Project Managers and Planning Engineer to help predict the timescales of a project
• Consults Purchasing Department to formulate estimates
• Evaluates suppliers/subcontractors in tendering process
• Performs other related duties as required

Requirements:

Work Experience

Minimum 4 years of experience as an Engineer. Previous experience in similar position is a plus

Academic Education

Bachelor Degree in Engineering

Computer Knowledge

- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- High Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Knowledge in Primavera is a plus

Job Summary:

Responsible for the coordination and support of various construction field execution activities related to Electrical work.

Job Description:

• Responsible for implementing and monitoring of all electrical related works on site;
• Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources required for all electrical and related works prior to execution;
• Submits site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis or as required;
• Ensures that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, and project specifications;
• Update the MEP Coordinator on daily basis regarding the status of the Electrical works (i.e. unsolved problems, matters requiring decision, progress etc.);
• Prepares Material, SD and Payment Certificate related to the electrical package prior submittal to Engineer;
• Ensures that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards;
• Manages directly and provide engineering and technical support to all the electrical work groups on site;
• Coordinates with client/consultant's representatives for any site instructions and inspection of works;
• Performs other related duties as required.

• Prepares shop drawings for construction
• Takes as built site dimensions and prepares as built drawings

• Ensures that modifications of drawings are clearly identified in subsequent revisions
• Maintains log sheet of all issued drawings with numbers and revisions
• Ensures correct distribution of approved drawings to execution personnel and removal of superseded documents
• Ensures daily back up and filing
• Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience in similar position.

Academic Education

BT or TS Architectural Drawing or related field

• Attends Safety trainings
