Community Involvement Runs in Our Blood

On 4 August 2020, many Lebanese citizens’ lives changed, as a large amount of ammonium nitrate stored at the port of the city of Beirut, exploded, causing at least 204 deaths, 7,500 injuries, and US$15 billion in property damage, and leaving an estimated 300,000 people homeless.

We are true believers that giving back go our society is part of our day to day operations.

Immediately after the blast we started our rescue campaign to help all people/businesses that were a¬ected.

Needless to say, since we are part of the Lebanese community, EBCO (BITAR) couldn’t but contribute in re-building Beirut and helping people a¬ected by the explosion get back to their normal life. EBCO (BITAR) has contributed.

EBCO (BITAR) is proud to be a part of the Beirut Relief Initiative by renovating more than 200 apartments and supporting with workforce and logistic team following the Beirut explosion on August 4.
