EBCO (BITAR) is supporting Souk El Balad’s initiative to provide daily essentials to displaced families in Beirut’s public schools. Every day, mattresses, blankets, and pillows are delivered, while canned food, clothes, and water are distributed. During Ramadan, hot iftar meals are prepared and shared. Candies and toys bring smiles to children, and hygiene kits and other essentials help families maintain their dignity. These efforts are coordinated with Beirut Municipality, the Disaster Relief Response, and the World Food Programme. Beyond donations, some EBCO (BITAR) team members also volunteer on the ground.
