EBCO (BITAR) is currently accepting applications for the summer 2012 internships. We are looking for Engineers (Civil, mechanical, electrical and architect) who are high achievers and active students.
The applicants should demonstrate ability to perform engineering and design fundamentals and principles. The internship will expose the interns to office and on site engineering, quality control and construction works. They will review and process shop drawings, RFIs, and support the design and engineering functions for the given project. Work may include assignments in the field gathering data or performing construction administration tasks.Self-motivation with initiative to learn is essential.
The interns will be:
Assisting civil engineers, project managers and designers with all aspects of projects; project set-up, drafting, design, project coordination/organization, etc.
Coordinating internally between different departments and on site team
Attending meetings with the team
No experience is required.
Applicants must be in the pursuit of an undergraduate degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Engineering and Architecture, with at least 2+ years of completed course work.
Good knowledge in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
Ability to communicate and work in a team oriented environment

EBCO (BITAR) was awarded the construction and completion of the “RECONSTRUCTION OF NAHR EL-BARED PALESTINE REFUGEE CAMP RESIDENTIAL AND NON – RESIDENTIAL UNITS BLOCK N100 & REMAINING BUILDINGS OF PACKAGE 1”

The project comprises the construction of new residential and non-residential buildings in Nahr El-Bared Camp with related site works, civil and architectural works, and electromechanical works.
The package is comprised of 44 buildings and 42 commercial shops within a total area of 12,000m2
